Self-tapes have become more common than in-person auditions these days. This shift has its pros and cons. On one hand, you have the luxury of filming multiple takes, gaining self awareness as you evaluate your work. On the other hand, you become director, producer and editor in addition to being an actor. Investing in lights, backdrops, and a decent camera is a great start but doesn't guarantee the job. That's where I come in—offering on-camera expertise, industry insights, and techniques cultivated at DePaul University's esteemed acting conservatory, along with valuable knowledge of the Chicago market.
